Noticing today so many posts from businesses “closing for the season”.
That used to be us when we started our first hospitality business Vintage Vacations almost 20 years ago.
One of the things we felt strongly about when we founded Tiny Homes Holidays was that it REALLY had to be sustainable and that included being open all year.
To us being a sustainable business doesn’t just mean recycling and eco power – it also means being able to help sustain people and other business around it…. And not just in the summer months.
One of the reasons our Tiny Houses are proper little houses and not on wheels is so that they would be viable to stay in all year round ….. and obtaining planning permission for all year opening depended somewhat on the standard of accommodation. This did bring it’s own problems as the cabins have to conform to many more building regs etc for NOT being on wheels! … maybe another post about that would be interesting? Let me know!
Anyway – we are proudly #openallyear and have also committed to giving our permanent employees a bit of a pay rise from this month.
