Access Statement Overview
The very nature of ‘Tiny’ means that it may not be possible for all wheelchair users to enjoy our accommodation. We will detail the interior and exterior aspects of each house within a detailed online access statement so that guests will be able to decide for themselves but it would be misleading to state that our Tiny Homes are suitable for wheelchairs.
Our most accessible cabin is Tiny Home SAOIRSE – more spacious, ramped deck and grips for toilet and shower. You can drive up to this cabin.
Our tutorial space is wheelchair accessible so day guests will be able to attend and lead workshops.
Tiny Homes Holidays accommodation, grounds and tutorial space are all being designed to cater very well for guests with hearing, visual or mental impairment, older guests and people with certain types of Dementia and we aim to offer a great holiday experience for these guests and their carers and families.
More details on access plans for these guests is available on request – currently a work in progress as we develop the Tiny Homes Holidays site.
We have been liaising with Isle Access who are helping us with this aspect of the business and we cannot thank them enough for the help and guidence thay have given us so far!i
