Mum of three Michelle of #teamtiny has shared some ideas for the February half term

The Isle of Wight is a great place to spend the february half term with ample beaches, parks and woodland to have adventures in. Be prepared with weatherproof coats and wellies for lots of splashing around in rock pools and possibly mud from all the rainfall we’ve had recently. There are lots of crazy golf courses scattered around the island which are a great way to while away spare time as well as amusement arcades for the kids with plenty of penny drop machines .We have theme parks, adventure parks and animal sanctuaries, lots of great pubs with play areas and beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
With things to do for all budgets some of our favorite won’t break the bank options include our very own retro cinema opened in 1936 The Commodore a real nostalgic picture house in Ryde with viewings costing just four pounds and an incredible two pound fifty for saturday matinees.Leo Leisure | Commodore Cinema – Ryde | Latest Films …
The Donkey Sanctuary in wroxall with free entry is a lovely way to spend some time and appreciate the great work the volunteers and staff do with regular events taking place and a lovely cafe to grab drinks and light bites from.Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary | Home

Sandown Pier with free entry is home to various amusements and arcade machines as well as a budget friendly soft play area named Magic Island only four pounds per session. Also in Sandown is a great public play park known as Rainbow park which can sometimes get a bit breezy so best to layer up, here you’ll find kids karting and sky nets too as well as a duck pond for feeding the feathered friends, a dinosaur museum, super clean beach and animal sanctuary all within walking distance.Sandown Pier | A Whole Days Fun In One!
